Meet Phillip Allen, the little man with lots of energy and a big heart. After witnessing the challenges he, his brothers and family face each and every day, I knew I had to take action. Phillip is just one of the hundreds of children who we pledge to support through our talents of art and music. -Bradley
“Locked to Your Own” (3:08) experimental film short
Official Experimental Film / Music Release; http://www.autodefiance.com
Upbeat guitar driven song which tells the tale of overwhelming triumph during a dark time in ones life. Classic Boyer music formula: machine gun rhythmic acoustic guitar with heavy fuzz and feedback guitars blending warmly over ambient orchestral moods, groovy bass lines and a drummer who just simply gets down.
A story about true friendship, and saving the life of someone you love. Life, love, loss, and despair is very tough to deal with, but with learning to trust someone, and leaving your pride behind will generally turn a bitter friendship around and open your eyes to what is truly important in life.

Special thanks to experimental indie filmmakers Craig Ciali and Travis Holmes for vintage film score mashup of the dramitc story within the song.
Discography
The single “Kidding Myself” tells the story of a passionate whirlwind romance inspired by true events, and matters of the heart. The B side “Heart Attack” is the electro-pop remix of the song which the official version is featured on the album. A small taste of what’s to come from the full-length album.

Self-released EP “Damiana’s Dream” is an acoustic, indie rock orchestra which carries you into a five song mini-melodrama. Soaked with a heavy dose of layered, shoegazey guitars; cello, and synth, each song carries you to it’s own time and place. The debut single “Ghost Inside Your House” has received a Billboard World Songwriter award. These five songs playfully blur the lines between alternative rock, and post punk. The combined chameleon-like creation of grandiose art rock is both endearing and inspiring.

With great skills, precision, and imagination, the talents of Nashville Producer Sean Giovanni, at the Record Shop has been a key element in assisting the band achieve their unique, signature sound. Co-producing the record with Giovanni is Boyer himself, as these two have worked in the studio together consistently for several years now, launching their signature indie / post-punk sound on their first EP “Damiana’s Dream” (2009).
So . . . what is an “art rock collective”?
Simple. a group of highly creative friends writing, playing, recording, and performing in Music City (and beyond). Others work behind the scenes remotely from hundreds of miles away. Cheers to the kind-hearted musicians playing live, in the studio, artists, street team, and a sharply skilled studio & film production team with an undying work ethic that is non-stop..24/7. This is a DIY effort not led by any political or corporate agenda. This is art in motion.
